Policeman injured as gunfight breaks out in Kulgam | KNO

Srinagar, Jun 27 (KNO): A policeman was injured on Monday evening after an encounter broke out between forces and militants in Hoowra village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, police said. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), police said that a joint team of police and security forces are on job while a policeman has got injured in the encounter. Police said that the operation is underway. “#Encounter has started at Hoowra village of #Kulgam district. Police & Security Forces are on the job. One JKP personnel got injured. Operation in progress. Further details shall follow,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted—(KNO)
